Josh's Legacy Fundraiser 2022

Josh’s Legacy Fundraiser held by I Got You was an evening that commemorated the life of Joshua Clarke, a 25 year old son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and mate, lost to suicide in April 2021. 

The I Got You Village came together to hold a fundraising event on 30 April 2022 at Thoroughbred Park. The evening was a time to commemorate Josh, raise awareness of suicide, and raise funds through fun games, raffles and auctions.

The event was a sell out with over 200 amazing individuals celebrating and reflecting on the life of a much loved young man. Guests, feasted on a delicious snitty, bid on incredible prizes, played some fun games and danced the night away.

The message of the evening was simple – check in on each other.

The success of the evening was not only seen in the amazing $19,000 being raised but importantly in the connection made with each other and the chatter and laughter heard throughout the night.

The $19,000 was donated to The OzHelp Foundation, a Canberra based organisation that provides support to workers in high risk, hard to reach industries including the building and construction industry, the industry Josh worked in prior to his suicide.
